2-Parttime Child Care Teachers

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Child Care Teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties

• Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities tailored to their developmental stages
• Implement curriculum plans that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts
• Ensure the safety of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
• Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare
• Assist in managing classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child development instruction, early childhood education principles, and classroom management strategies
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus
• Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and child safety protocols is required or will be provided upon hire
• Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and preschool curriculum development is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members in a professional manner
• Previous experience in nannying or babysitting can be valuable for understanding individual child needs

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
