We could not find Childcare Network pay published anywhere: the chain lists no teacher wage rates, and the shared careers site its parent company uses for hiring carried no pay or benefits information when we reviewed it.

What a job seeker can do instead is benchmark any offer against federal wage data.

This page gives the May 2025 medians for the occupations center teachers work in, explains how the brand's setup compares with other employers, and shows where its openings actually post.

Typical pay by role: no published rates in our research, clear benchmarks

We found no published hourly pay scale for any Childcare Network classroom role — lead teacher, assistant teacher, floater or aide.

The careers site its parent uses for recruiting carried no pay or benefits text when we reviewed it in fall 2026, and we found no public filing for the company to check either.

Our research could not verify an employer-published pay rate for Childcare Network, so this page quotes none: any specific dollar figure you see attached to the brand online comes from a source other than the employer, as far as our research could establish.

What does exist is federal survey data for the occupations center teachers work in.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics' OEWS program puts the May 2025 national median at $16.82 an hour ($34,980 a year) for childcare workers (SOC 39-9011) and at $18.34 an hour ($38,140 a year) for preschool teachers, except special education (SOC 25-2011).

Narrowed to the child care services industry (NAICS 6244), childcare workers earned a median of $16.43 an hour ($34,170 a year).

One view of the benchmarks:

BLS occupationNational median, May 202510th percentile90th percentile
Childcare workers (SOC 39-9011)$16.82 an hour ($34,980 a year)$11.66 an hour$22.12 an hour
Preschool teachers, except special education (SOC 25-2011)$18.34 an hour ($38,140 a year)$13.94 an hour$29.52 an hour
Childcare workers in child care services (NAICS 6244)$16.43 an hour ($34,170 a year)——

These are national survey medians covering whole occupations and industries — they are not Childcare Network rates, and a specific school's offer can sit above or below them.

The percentile columns show the spread: childcare workers at the 10th percentile earned $11.66 an hour in May 2025, and at the 90th percentile $22.12, so geography, setting and role all move the number.

The same gap covers every role on the schedule, assistant teacher included: we found no posted rate for any of them.

The medians above describe occupations, not one school's staffing chart, so an actual assistant-teacher rate only appears in a posting or an offer — which is why the sensible move is to ask for the number in writing before you accept.

An independent page — and these are benchmarks, not Childcare Network's rates

ChildcareHires is a job board: we are not Childcare Network, not affiliated with or endorsed by it, and brand names belong to their owners. Every dollar figure on this page is a BLS OEWS survey median for May 2025 covering whole occupations and industries — not the company's pay rates, which we could not find published. Confirm current pay and benefits with the school before you accept an offer.

Benefits and the staff childcare discount

The benefits picture matches the pay picture: nothing published that we could find.

The careers site our review read carried no benefits text, and we found no public filings that would give job seekers another employer-side document to check.

Whether a particular Childcare Network school offers health coverage, paid time off, a retirement plan or a discount on childcare for staff children is not something our research could confirm — it is a question for the school's director or the recruiting contact.

One chain does publish its benefits list.

Learning Care Group — the company behind Childtime, Tutor Time and La Petite Academy — lists a 50% child care discount for staff, paid wellness days, retirement programs with matching dollars, tuition reimbursement and a fully funded CDA credential program on its careers page.

Those are Learning Care Group's advertised benefits, not Childcare Network's; they are useful as a category checklist of what to ask about.

Ask about each category at the school rather than assuming any of them: whether health coverage is offered and when eligibility starts, whether paid time off exists and accrues by seniority, whether any staff childcare discount applies from a first day or after a waiting period, and whether training or credential coursework is funded or unpaid.

Answers to those questions can change the value of an offer as much as the posted rate does.

How Childcare Network pay compares with other centers

Honestly: our research found no public data for a like-for-like comparison.

We verified no employer-published pay rates for Childcare Network or for the other private brands we checked — Learning Care Group, Primrose, Goddard, Kiddie Academy and The Learning Experience.

Even KinderCare, which does file public reports, publishes no teacher hourly pay rates in its 10-K.

That leaves no employer disclosures to build a chain pay ranking from, which is why this page does not rank chains.

The chain-by-chain view is collected in our guide to the best-paying daycare chains.

What public data does support is the size of the gap between settings.

Preschool teachers (SOC 25-2011) in child care services earned a median of $17.72 an hour ($36,850 a year) in May 2025, while the same occupation in elementary and secondary schools earned a median of $27.29 an hour ($56,750 a year).

That gap runs between settings, not between brands — and it is the comparison public data does support for a teacher weighing a chain school against a school-based program.

Pay by state and local market

The same role pays differently from one market to the next, and the medians above move with it.

In Texas, for example, preschool teachers earned a median of $16.28 an hour ($33,860 a year) in May 2025 — below the $18.34 national median for the same occupation in the same survey.

The same BLS release publishes state-level medians.

Which market applies to you depends on the school: apply to the posting for the city you want, and benchmark against that state's median rather than the national one.

You can compare a posted offer with your own state's figure on our daycare teacher salary page before you negotiate.

How to find Childcare Network openings

Childcare Network is one of the brands of Child Development Schools, which recruits for Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools and My Small Wonders through a single shared careers site on ADP's job board.

The board's own pitch reads “Find a fulfilling future with our brands Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools, and My Small Wonders.” For a job seeker that means postings for all three brands surface on one board, and the same company family sits behind the hiring for all three.

  1. Find the shared careers board

Search for Childcare Network careers or Child Development Schools careers — you are looking for the shared ADP board that carries all three brands. Read the school name and city on each posting before you apply so you know which market's rates you are negotiating.
  2. Read the posting like a pay document

Note the role split (lead teacher versus assistant teacher), the schedule and any posted rate. Where no rate is posted, ask the recruiting contact for the range before you invest an interview, and compare it with your state's BLS median first.
  3. Ask the benefits questions early

Use the categories from the benefits section above — health coverage, paid time off, retirement, a staff childcare discount, funded training — and ask which apply, to whom, and starting when.
  4. Keep parallel applications open

Independent centers and other chains hire childcare teachers too, and a second live offer is useful leverage in any pay conversation.

ChildcareHires collects childcare teacher jobs from centers and chains in one place, so you can weigh posted pay, benefits and schedules across several employers before you apply anywhere.

Career information, not licensing, legal or financial advice. The wage figures on this page are BLS OEWS medians for May 2025 covering whole occupations and industries — not Childcare Network's pay rates, which we could not find published. Confirm current pay and benefits with the school before you accept an offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Childcare Network pay assistant teachers?

No employer-published rate exists that our research could verify: the careers site used by Childcare Network's parent listed no pay information when we reviewed it.

The closest public benchmark is BLS OEWS data for May 2025, which puts the national median for childcare workers (SOC 39-9011) at $16.82 an hour and for preschool teachers (SOC 25-2011) at $18.34 an hour — figures for whole occupations, not one role.

Ask the school for the assistant rate directly and get it in writing.

Does Childcare Network pay weekly or biweekly?

Our research found no published pay-schedule information for Childcare Network: the careers site its parent uses carried no pay or benefits text when we reviewed it.

Pay frequency is an employer-by-employer detail, so ask the director or recruiting contact directly — and while you are at it, ask how training time and any orientation period are paid.

Neither question changes the posted rate, but both change what a paycheck actually looks like.

Does Childcare Network offer employees a childcare discount?

We could not verify a published benefits list for Childcare Network: the careers site its parent uses carried no benefits text, and we found no public filings for the company.

Learning Care Group does advertise the perk — a 50% child care discount for staff — so it is a fair question to put to any Childcare Network school during the interview.

Who owns Childcare Network?

Childcare Network is one of the brands of Child Development Schools, which recruits for Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools and My Small Wonders through a single ADP careers site.

The practical upshot for job seekers is that one application board covers the whole family — check the school name and city on each posting so you know which school you would actually be working in.
